1. Publisher and purpose

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Vietnam VND mobile app (the “App”), published by Rémi Dutot, sole trader (French entreprise individuelle) trading as SOLIS APPS, SIRET 834 715 534 00022, 2 Impasse du Maine Poirier, 17360 La Clotte, France (the “Publisher”). Contact: contact@solis-apps.com.

By downloading or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. The App

The App converts amounts between currencies, with the Vietnamese dong as its focus, and keeps a history of your recent conversions on your device. It is provided free of charge, with no in-app purchase, no subscription and no account.

3. Exchange rates are indicative

The exchange rates shown in the App are supplied by a third party, are updated periodically and are indicative only. They are not the rates applied by a bank, a bureau de change, a card network or a merchant. The App does not provide financial advice. Check the rate that will actually be applied before any transaction.

The Publisher does not guarantee that the rates are accurate, complete or up to date, or that they are available at all times. When your device is offline, the App keeps showing the last rates it saved and shows their date.

4. Licence, intellectual property and attribution

The Publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App on your devices, for your private use, in accordance with these Terms and with the terms of the store from which you downloaded it. Except where mandatory law allows it, you may not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the App, or use it in a way that is unlawful or that harms the App or its data provider.

The App, its name, its icon and its content belong to the Publisher. The exchange rates are provided by ExchangeRate-API, which keeps its rights over that data. Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

5. Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for any loss resulting from the use of the App or from the impossibility of using it, including a decision taken on the basis of an exchange rate, an error or a delay in third-party data, or an interruption of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular for death or personal injury, fraud or gross negligence, nor the rights that mandatory consumer law grants you.

6. Apple licence terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or for providing support for it.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts that have jurisdiction under the applicable law.

8. Changes and contact

The Publisher may change, suspend or discontinue the App or the rate service at any time, and may update these Terms. The current version is published at this address with its date; if you keep using the App after an update, you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop using the App and delete it.
