1. Who we are

The Vietnam VND mobile app (the “App”) is published by:

The Publisher is the controller, within the meaning of the GDPR, of any personal data the App might process. As explained below, the Publisher processes none.

2. How the App works, briefly

Vietnam VND converts amounts between currencies on your device. To do so, it downloads exchange rates from an online service, at most once per update of that service's data (roughly once a day), and keeps them on your device so that it can keep working offline. The App has no account, no sign-in and no server operated by the Publisher.

3. Data stored on your device

The Publisher does not collect, receive or store any personal data through the App. The App only stores the following on your device:

This data never leaves your device through the App, and the Publisher has no access to it. It may be included in your device backups (for example iCloud), which are managed by you and by the provider of your device. The App contains no analytics tool and no crash-reporting tool.

4. Rate provider and international transfers

To download exchange rates, the App sends a request directly from your device to ExchangeRate-API. Like any internet request, it reveals your IP address and standard technical connection data (such as the type of device and system) to that provider. The request contains no identifier, no account information and none of your conversions.

ExchangeRate-API processes this technical data under its own responsibility and may do so outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland. Its terms and privacy information are available on its website. The Publisher receives no personal data from this request and transfers none itself.

If you prefer that no such request is made, use the App without an internet connection: it then shows the last saved rates.

5. Retention and deletion

Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it. Deleting the App removes all the data it stored on your device. The Publisher holds no data about you and therefore has nothing to delete on its side.

6. Advertising and tracking

The App shows no advertising and contains no advertising identifier, no analytics tool and no third-party software development kit. It does not track you across apps or websites and therefore does not display a tracking permission request (App Tracking Transparency).

7. Your rights

Because the Publisher holds no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete on its side. You nevertheless keep all the rights granted by the applicable law — in particular, under the GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. To exercise them, or for any question, write to contact@solis-apps.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr); in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch); or the authority of your country of residence.

Users located in Switzerland

If you live in Switzerland, this policy applies together with the FADP. The controller is the Publisher identified in section 1, reachable at contact@solis-apps.com. No representative in Switzerland has been appointed, as the conditions of Article 14 FADP are not met. The recipient described in section 4 may be located outside Switzerland.

8. Children and security

The App is not directed at children in particular and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own security features (passcode, encryption). Exchange rates are downloaded over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy, for example if the App changes. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page, and the new version is published at this address.
